It's the first day of Autumn!

It's the first day of Autumn! YAY! I can't wait for apple pies, Thanksgiving turkey dinner, and pumpkin spice flavored everything!  Alright so aside from the fact that mostly everything I'm looking forward to about fall is food related... there's also the love for fall colors!!  Here in California we don't really get much in terms of a visible season change, but we sure do love fall colors! We've been so inspired by autumn that we made a special dress that's just perfect for your Thanksgiving dinner party! Falling In Love with Heart of Haute Fall Colors

We have definitely hit the mark for our retro girl for the Fall season.  The 2012 color trends for Fall, according to Refinery 29 (http://www.refinery29.com/2012-color-trends/slideshow#slide-1 ), are Beautiful Burnt Orange, Dazzling Deep Teal, Vivacious Venetian Red, and Cute Cerulean.  Keeping up with the season’s color trends can be rather tricky, but one can never go wrong with the basic colors such as Brown, Orange, and Dark Red.  Another helpful trend tip for the Fall season is layering.  Layers are a must, but too much layering or accessorizing can lead to a cluttered look.  Here are three different looks you can achieve without over accessorizing, and with items from your very own closet. Our lovely model and fellow co-worker, Katrina, is wearing a Monique Dress in the Orange Orbit print.  She has paired the dress with a Bow Belt (Belt available on our website), a PU Leather Jacket, and finally Katrina has added her own touch by using the original belt that came with dress as a head scarf.      You don’t have to say goodbye to your favorite summer dresses just yet.  You can always pair your Sweetie Dress with a one-of-a-kind vintage sweater, or try our new Sweet Sweater by Mandie Bee.  Have fun accessorizing with boots, tights, scarfs, sweaters, jackets, hats, and you will be looking sensational for the Thanksgiving season.
