The pinup style is a wonderfully classic style that is perfect for all body types. Since the pinup style is meant to show off your curvaceous body, why not choose garments that are ideal for your specific shape?
Large Bust
Ladies with larger busts, rejoice! The pinup style is great for a large bust because the 1940s and 50s styles were all about showing off the girls.
The bullet bra was first introduced in the 40s and was popular well into the 50s as a way to add an extra cup size. To best accentuate your girls and the rest of your body, look for a v-neckline or a scoop neck. By showing off your neck, you help balance out your top and allows the ladies some breathing room rather than being squished. Also, go for a full skirt on the bottom to help balance out the top.
Heart of Haute’s Milan Dress is a great option for those with a fuller bust with its v-neckline, full skirt, and belted waist.

Slender
The pinup style is a great choice for the slender-bodied because these dress shapes are meant to add curves. You can wear just about anything but look for outfits that will accentuate the waist to give you more of an hourglass/pinup figure. In addition to
highlighting the waist, look for details such as peplums, embellishments, bows, and ruffles to help add curvature.
Heart of Haute’s Millie Dress is great for a slender frame with its empire waist, buttons, low v-neckline, and stunning shoulder details.

Hourglass/Curvy
You lucky gal! Pinup is perfect for your body type, and you can wear just about anything within this style. To best emphasize your shape, begin by highlight your waist. Ties and belts are great for showing off your tiny waist. To best highlight your waist, look for
smaller belts and ties as the heavier belts and ties may not illustrate just how tiny your waist is. Clingy fabrics and pencil dresses will look great on you –let the world see your curves.
Heart of Haute’s Rayleine Wrap Dresses in the rayon fabrics are amazing for you, but really, anybody will look hot in them. The fabric stays a little closer to the body, the tie cinches in your waist, and the v-neckline shows off some cleavage.

Pear Shape
The pear shape is wonderful for pinup style because you can choose to show off your curvy backside in a form-fitting skirt or you can balance out your shape with a fuller skirt.
For the pear shape, I like to go for a full circle or panel skirt on the bottom with an embellished top to add balance. I love halter style necklines or necklines with ruffles to draw the eye up. As always, accent the waist.
Heart of Haute’s Amanda Dress is perfect for pear-shaped ladies. The full paneled skirt keeps the bottom free and the yoke collar provides a great balance for the bottom. The tie belt brings in the waist to give you that pinup look.
Apple Shape
The apple shape is defined as having a wider torso, and this means you probably have a fuller bust and waist and may have broad shoulders. To show off your body and get the pinup look, look for v-necklines – especially narrow v-necklines – as they will give
the illusion of a longer torso. Also look for princess seam dresses. These seams start in the torso and go all the way down without a waistline seam. This keeps the body from being broken up by a waistline seam. Look for structured fabrics such as cotton to best
highlight your shape.
Heart of Haute’s Sweetie Dress is great for apple shapes. It has princess seams to elongate your body, a sweetheart neckline to accent your chest, a halter necktie to bring in wide shoulders, and it’s cotton.
The pinup style works well for every body type. By finding the shapes and details that work best for your body, you can look and feel great. Now go show off that shape, Heart of Haute Honeys!
